Membership Subscriptions

Membership Subscriptions renew annually on 1st July

Annual subscription rates, as of 1st July 2024

  • Adult Membership £130
  • Couples Membership £195
  • Family Membership £230
  • Young Person Membership (age 18-30) £45
  • Senior Membership (age over 65 & 5yrs membership) £85
  • Senior Couples Membership (1 member age over 65 & 5yrs membership) £150

We welcome new members throughout the year and encourage visits to the clubhouse to meet members and discuss what the club has to offer.

Prospective new members are required to be signed in by an existing member. As per the Club Articles, prospective members are allowed a maximum of four visits to the clubhouse before they are required to apply for membership.

Prospective members are required to complete the Membership Application form, with both a Proposer and Seconder and submit this to the Membership Secretary.

*If a Club Official has advised that you require Temporary Club Membership, please contact the Membership Secretary with this request.

  • Proposed memberships are reviewed and election notices issued by the General Committee, who meet monthly throughout the year.
  • Members elected between 1st March & 1st May will be required to pay one half of their relevant membership subscription rate for that year.
  • Members elected between 1st May & 1st July will be required to pay the full subscription for their relevant membership for that year. However if subscription fees are paid within two weeks of their election notice this will also cover their required subscription for the ensuing club year.

As well as a real sense of community, members have access to everything the Club has to offer:

  • From sailing and rowing activities, with including introductory taster sessions if you’re new to either
  • All social aspects including our Club Boat Bar and lounge, a wide range of social events hosted throughout the year, to our Snooker Room
  • The opportunity to bring the same guest for no fee up to four times
  • Joint Membership price enables a partner or friend to join for only a modest extra fee vs. Single Membership
