The 2025 Season of introductory rowing sessions has kicked off!
Since last years introductory sessions locked up their oars for the off-season, 26 enthusiastic potential Deganwy Rowers have signed up to dip their oars and discover if rowing with us is their next big thing!
This season the 3 Amigos, Peter, Steve and Annmarie are working their magic coxing our boats every Monday evening, graciously and supportively introducing the joys of rowing with our club to the guys and gals who have been waiting patiently over winter to get out rowing!
As ever you lovely bunch of Deganwy Rowers have enthusiastically raised your hands to row in seats 1 & 4 – an ideal opportunity to showcase your charm and wit…as well as the essential rowing tricks and techniques, under the gilded guidance of our supercalifragilisticexpialidocious instructor coxes…of course!
Anyone who is interested in trying rowing on for size, can join 2 introductory sessions, prior to becoming a club member. If they are left wanting more, then it’s time to sign on the dotted line of a club membership application form and jump onto a Saturday, Sunday or Wednesday social row. Where they will continue to be supported and guided on their rowing journey.
